A credit connects a Gondola person or organization to a post and records the role they performed. Credit the people who actually made the work, including yourself, not only the account that published it.
Add a credit
- Sign in and open the Gondola post. If it is missing, add its original social URL first.
- Open the post's credits.
- Find the correct creator or organization. Check the profile before you select it, to avoid crediting someone with a similar name.
- Choose the role that describes their contribution.
- Choose public or private, and save.
You need a username to add credits, unless you have a Manager or Member seat on a paid team. A creator can have different roles on different posts. Older roles that Gondola phased out stay on existing credits but cannot be picked for new ones.
Public and private credits
Public credits can appear on profiles and in search. Adding a private credit requires PRO. A private credit hides who is credited on Gondola; it does not hide the original social post. See the article on private credits, lists, and projects before you use it.
Credit many posts at once
Bulk Actions credit people on many posts at once. They require PRO or a paid Teams seat, and they do not use tokens. Review the selected posts, people, and roles before you apply them.
