If a credit names the wrong person, uses the wrong role, or claims work someone did not do, correct the credit rather than importing another copy of the post.
Edit a credit you control
You can edit or remove a credit if you are the credited person or the person who added it. Open the post, find the credit, and edit or remove it. Making a public credit private requires PRO.
Report a credit you cannot edit
- Sign in. Your account needs an email address.
- On the post, select Report a credits error under the credits.
- Choose whether the credit is completely false, or the role or credited user is incorrect.
- If you know the correct person or role, add them in Correct user or Correct role.
- Use the comments to explain what is wrong and how you know, then send the report.
The report is tied to the post, so you don't need to include its link.
After you report
A reported credit shows This credit is under review until Gondola reviews it. A report does not remove the credit right away. If you have more to add, contact support with the post link.
Auto credit problems
If the same wrong role keeps appearing on new posts from your account, check its auto credit setting in Settings → Accounts. Fix the setting as well as the affected credits. Removing a credit does not delete the original social post.
